Have your Original Work feature at the Original Embolization Meeting!The GEST 2010 Scientific Committee invites you to submit abstracts from original investigations for consideration at GEST 2010 to be held at the Westin Market Street, San Francisco, May 6 to 9, 2010. Abstracts should constitute original research, (clinical studies, basic investigation and animal studies are equally encouraged) in the field of cardiovascular medicine and intervention. The content may include portions of prior abstracts and/or manuscripts submitted or presented elsewhere. This May, Drs. Jafar Golzarian, Ziv Haskal, Marc Sapoval and world class experts are combining their expertise in embolization to deliver YOU the real GESTexperience. GEST 2010Young Interventional Radiologists Grant Program GEST 2010 are pleased to announce the following grant organized in collaboration with COOK Medical, specifically for young interventional radiologists. This unique funded program provides access to the meeting, expenses and an exclusive young-physician, hands-on device experience and training. Please take advantage of this by applying, or making your junior colleagues or trainees aware. The deadline for application is also February 14th, 2010. More information on the program can be found below. Mission: To give young interventional radiologists access to the highest level of scientific, clinical, practice building and practical technical education about new procedures, therapies, materials and devices, their results and relevance for patient care and imaging. The Grant: One full professional registration to attend GEST 2010 in San Francisco as well as four nights' hotel accommodation. Please note that successful applicants must be on-site for the entire duration of the event, May 6-9, 2010. Criteria: Applicants must be under the age of 35 (fellows or last year of residency) Application Process: To apply for the Young Interventional Radiologists Grant Program, your completed application must be submitted before Sunday 14 February, 2010 and contain the following documents:
