- Research: This year, GEST will premier approximately 70 adjudicated scientific abstracts and posters in San Francisco, highlighting the future of embolization research from around the world, as well as clinical research that will affect your current oncologic, gyn, arterial, and venous embolic interventions. - Evidence: GEST provides multiple plenary and review lectures on materials, case selection, advances and changes in practice, practice building, etc, from a large world-renowned faculty. Lectures are short, tight presentations intended to dig deep on individual topics. - Technical Teaching: GEST showcases new, trademarked MasterClasses, the Ablation Alley, Hands-on demos for devices, and case based discussion sections.
Among embolization press highlights is a paper in this month’s JVIR (April 2010), a joint document by SIR, CIRSE and CIR on standard of practice for embolization. Go to www.jvir.org
